This policy explains what happens to your information when you use TheIELTSListeningTest.com. The short version: there are no accounts, and your answers never leave your own browser.

What we do not collect

• No account, name, email address or payment details are needed to use the site.
• The answers you type are saved in your browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose them. They are not sent to us and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What our host records

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. These can include your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these only to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.

YouTube videos

Test videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, under Google's privacy policy. We receive nothing from that.

We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics. See the cookie policy for the detail.

Advertising

The site currently shows no advertising. If advertising is added, this page will be updated before the first advert appears, and visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent tool.

Children

The site is meant for people preparing for IELTS and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold no account data, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, email contact@theieltslisteningtest.com and we will deal with it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to contact@theieltslisteningtest.com.
